You’ve probably been planning your wedding since you were five but now it’s time to do it for real. How exciting!
Selecting a venue is the perfect place to start your wedding planning journey together as a newly engaged couple. Here are our Wembley Hotels top tips for finding the venue of your dreams.
Before setting your heart on a venue, make sure that it is within your budget. Wedding blog Bridal Guide recommends allocating no more than 50% of your total budget towards the venue. Our Wembley hotel also recommends you do some research on wedding directory websites such as hitched.co.uk and get a feel for similar venues for price comparisons.
It’s important to decide from the outset whether you want a large or more intimate wedding as this will affect your choice of venue and will also help narrow down the search. Remember, it is always easier to add people than try and take them away. Our hotel in Wembley recommends starting with your core A list of guests and then, if there’s room, consider adding to it.
Remember to think about how accessible it is for everyone attending. Do you want to host the ceremony and reception at the same venue and if not, how easy it is to travel from one venue to another? Are you providing the transport? Selecting a venue such as our Wembley hotel, will give you the upper hand and offer you space and the rooms for your guests at a reduced price so well worth considering this approach!
We recommend visiting at least 4 venues so that you can get a real feel for the space you’ll potentially be getting married in. Once you think you have found your space, Rock My Wedding blog always recommends going back for a second visit before committing to a deposit.
Before making your final decision, our Wembley hotel team can’t emphasise enough the importance of asking as many questions as possible. Whenever a question pops into your head be sure to write it down so you don’t forget your query! The way the venue handle your questions will also give you a good indication as to how the event’s team will be able to assist you going forward.
Now all that is left is for you to check the venue’s availability, set the date and start planning. Good Luck!
I was really impressed and even surprised how great this hotel was. It is located next to Wembley and it is 5-7 minutes to walk from the subway station Wembley Park. Rooms are very clean, the bed was simply fantastic. The breakfast is far above traditional breakfasts in midrange price British hotels. I will definitely stay there again when I am going to be in London.
We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. We were looking for decent hotel in London and although a wee bit outside the center of London, the rail/tube links to Wembley makes this hotel easily accessible to central London (30 min train journey). We booked executive room (£134) which was large, with great view of Wembley stadium. Service from staff was very good with food and drink reasonable for London.
The welcome was friendly and helpful. Room on 3rd floor very clean and fresh. Twin beds as requested. Very comfortable. The temperature of room was constant with no stuffy feel.
Great choice for breakfast. This is hotel is good value for money considering location.
This hotel was absolutely great. The food and everything far exceeded my expectations. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The staff were extraordinarily professional and provided excellent service. They were very accommodating and made my stay a very pleasant and rewarding one.
Handy for train station and bus routes, and it had all amenities that you could reasonably require. The room itself was good and I slept well that night. I would gladly stay again.
Good value stopover with the city easily reached by the Metropolitan Line. Team here are always welcoming. Comfortable and clean room on the 9th floor and the air con much appreciated on a scorcher of a day outside.
Wonderful hotel room, very good price, staff were lovely and friendly. Saying how busy it was after the summertime ball the staff were friendly and on hand to help. Would recommend to anyone who wants a place to stay visiting Wembley stadium.
Stayed here for the game at the stadium which is right next to hotel. Beds comfy staff are friendly the breakfast is buffet all you can eat. Diana on reception was really polite and helpful. Would stay here again.
The friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff and a VERY comfortable bed makes this hotel an excellent choice every time, especially when you intend attending events at Wembley or shopping in the designer outlets.
