Autumn is a beautiful season and a perfect time to get married. So if you’ve just got engaged, and you’re planning to tie the knot in the autumn months, you might be looking for some inspiration and ideas that you can incorporate in your big day. In this blog, our budget hotel in Wembley explores 2019 autumn wedding trends, read on...
Forget the guests wearing fascinators and instead don one yourself! That's right, statement headpieces are set to be big this autumn wedding season. The Met Gala has a lot to answer for this trend as, according to reports, their 2018 theme of ‘Fashion and the Catholic imagination’ saw a rise in headpieces. As well as this, tiaras are making a comeback thanks to Meghan Markle sporting one on her wedding day. So don’t be afraid to wear a headpiece that might be a little bit ‘out there’ they can really take your wedding attire to the next level.
It’s always been a tradition that the male members of the bridal party make the speeches at a wedding, but this is changing, as a recent trend is seeing a lot more women doing them! That’s right, brides are now leading the way in telling the embarrassingly funny stories about how they met their groom, and all the quirky antics they got up to in their time together so far. As well as this, bridesmaids and mothers of the bride are even picking up the mic to make a toast. We’re all for this idea and can’t wait to see more brides making speeches at our budget hotel in Wembley.
There’s nothing worse than spending loads of money on wedding flowers, we know they can cost a lot for one day! But have you ever considered having a dried flower bouquet instead? Many brides keep a flower and dry it out themselves after the big day as a little keepsake, but why not use them, to begin with? These are perfect for bohemian themed weddings, as well as looking wild, unusual and gorgeous at the same time! Go on, break tradition and opt for something a little different...
That’s right! 2018 was the year that saw many bridal parties move away from the tradition of having the resident DJ play at the wedding reception, and instead opt for a couple of bands to play through the night! It can make your wedding feel a little more personal, especially if you know the bands on the outside, but in reality...who can actually remember the DJ’s from weddings? We think these ‘festival wedding vibes’ will continue for a good few years!

Everybody always wants to know what the colour scheme of a wedding will be. From the colour of the bridesmaids dresses right through to the colour of the handkerchief the groom and his party will be wearing in their suits. Cornflour blue and Gen Z yellow are set to be the big colour trends for 2019 weddings, but you go with what you like! Any colour is perfect for a wedding, no matter what time of year if it’s styled correctly.

I was really impressed and even surprised how great this hotel was. It is located next to Wembley and it is 5-7 minutes to walk from the subway station Wembley Park. Rooms are very clean, the bed was simply fantastic. The breakfast is far above traditional breakfasts in midrange price British hotels. I will definitely stay there again when I am going to be in London.
We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. We were looking for decent hotel in London and although a wee bit outside the center of London, the rail/tube links to Wembley makes this hotel easily accessible to central London (30 min train journey). We booked executive room (£134) which was large, with great view of Wembley stadium. Service from staff was very good with food and drink reasonable for London.
The welcome was friendly and helpful. Room on 3rd floor very clean and fresh. Twin beds as requested. Very comfortable. The temperature of room was constant with no stuffy feel.
Great choice for breakfast. This is hotel is good value for money considering location.
This hotel was absolutely great. The food and everything far exceeded my expectations. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The staff were extraordinarily professional and provided excellent service. They were very accommodating and made my stay a very pleasant and rewarding one.
Handy for train station and bus routes, and it had all amenities that you could reasonably require. The room itself was good and I slept well that night. I would gladly stay again.
Good value stopover with the city easily reached by the Metropolitan Line. Team here are always welcoming. Comfortable and clean room on the 9th floor and the air con much appreciated on a scorcher of a day outside.
Wonderful hotel room, very good price, staff were lovely and friendly. Saying how busy it was after the summertime ball the staff were friendly and on hand to help. Would recommend to anyone who wants a place to stay visiting Wembley stadium.
Stayed here for the game at the stadium which is right next to hotel. Beds comfy staff are friendly the breakfast is buffet all you can eat. Diana on reception was really polite and helpful. Would stay here again.
The friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff and a VERY comfortable bed makes this hotel an excellent choice every time, especially when you intend attending events at Wembley or shopping in the designer outlets.
First would like to say how helpful and friendly Mario at the Reception desk was made checking in easy and welcoming. The room we were allocated was excellent wanted to take the bed home with me. Cleanliness was excellent and had everything you need for a one night stay.
